John 3:⁷ Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. ⁸ The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. ⁹ Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?

This past Thanksgiving the Milwaukee Seed Sowers went out on Thursday evening to hand out tracts and start conversations at Best Buy and Kohl’s Department Store as the people waited in line for the stores to open for their door buster specials. It was so easy to hand out the $1,000,000 bills with the Million Dollar question.

Thanksgiving Thursday it was actually warm but on Friday morning the weather had drastically changed. It was now cold and very windy. One of the members of our team, Nancy was busy handing out millions and one got away from her and blew way across the parking lot and fell at the feet of a woman who was walking to the store.

The woman picked it up and brought it back to Nancy saying, “Here, this is yours”. “No”, Nancy would reply, “That is for you”.

Woman: “What is it?”

Nancy: “It’s a Million Dollar Bill with a Million Dollar question on the backside”.

Over the course of the conversation, Nancy was able to share the truth of our condition under the law and the glorious work of Christ at the Cross for us. The woman confessed that she had been thinking about this and had had input from many different people about God and salvation. She was confused. With tears in her eyes, she said that she had asked God to reveal the truth to her and that she couldn’t believe that God was answering her prayer by her having this conversation with Nancy.

Nancy prayed for the woman and gave the person her phone number.

When we share our faith boldly, clearly and effectively, the gospel is so simple that even a child can understand it. Luke 18:17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

No one knows which way the wind will blow but let’s go out and share the gospel so that the whole world will hear and let the wind of the Holy Ghost have its way.
